Christmas 2022
Well, time flies by so quickly, and I am only now finished sorting and editing through photos from Christmas last year.
Once again, we were able to spend it with James and Abbi and the kids out on the station. We had a lovely time of eating, playing, swimming, fishing (or trying to), playing cricket and all the good things you do when you get a few days off at the end of the year.
Emilee and Laine and the kids were over in Qld visiting with Lauren and Cam and family, so sadly, we weren't able to spend Christmas with them, but they had a wonderful time visiting over there.
God is good and time with family is so special.
So, here are a bunch of photos, in no particular order, of our holiday time.
Little Esther is growing so quickly.
Reuben playing referee for our game of cricket, with his 'little old man' pose.
What is Christmas without a game of cricket in the steamy, humid weather!
Selfie time with the Aunties
And there always has to be some splashing in the mud!
And a flat tyre, of course!
Christmas time cookie decorating!
One of the very exciting things we did in Darwin. A couple of hours of jet skiing in the ocean at epic speeds, under heavy rain and over crazy waves. Huge adrenalin rush and so worth it! (And thankfully no crocodile sightings while in the calmer, mangroves, despite the croc traps)
We also hired electric scooters to scoot all over the waterfront in Darwin, which was a lot of fun and even Dave participated. Getting more adventurous in his old age. Ha Ha.
