Beach Getaway

Back in November last year, our boss treated us to a fishing charter off Dundee Beach.
We paid for accommodation, and he paid for the charter.

Dave was very excited to finally believe that there are actually fish in the ocean, and he was able to catch not only the biggest fish of the day, but also many, many more.

Being the kindhearted darling that I am (cough cough), I opted to stay back so that the son of one of the workers could go along, but I had a lovely, peaceful time back at the beach house, studying and writing and enjoying the beautiful views.

We were treated to beautiful weather, delicious food, and an epic sunset!

The colours God paints our skies with will never cease to amaze me and cause me to stand in awe of such an amazing God that chooses to bless us with his creation.

I spent some time at the edge of the cliff, soaking it all in, listening to music and holding my own little worship service as I watched the sun disappear over the horizon.

Psalm 33:6-8 KJV - By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name!
