Maddy's New Wheels 

 Well, since Maddy got her license recently,

she has been searching the world

 (well, not quite) for a car! 

After looking far and near, she found this

old girl in Darwin. 

Just what she wanted!

An 80 series Landcruiser Wagon

And an added bonus for Dave, 

it was chockers full of recovery 

gear, a fridge slide, spare parts etc etc

(that he kindly bought back off her)

It also came with a huge boom box

that is totally unrealistic, so that will 

be Gumtreed! and drawers in the back

and storage boxes in the centre 

(which Dave also kindly took)

roof rack, storage tube, 2 light bars, snorkel,

and a UHF radio, a winch and other little goodies,

like power windows!! (first time for a Holmes car)

and air con!!! And it's cold too!!! 

I got to do the maiden voyage honours

and bring the 'sweet ride' back from Darwin. 

This 4WD is already fitted out for travel, 

so Simpson Desert here we come! 

Well, maybe not for a while yet. Sigh. 

Anyway, that brings our Toyota quota for the 

extended family up once again. 

At present it stands as such:

One 45 series 

Two 60 series

Two 80 series

One 75 series

One 79 series

All Landcruisers!!

And also Two Toyota Hiluxes

And a Toyota HiAce

And a Toyota Coaster

(we won't mention the non-Toyotas in the family)

OH WHAT A FEELING!
